7 Adjusting the depth of loops When weaving a looped fabric, special attention must be paid to the depth of the press stitch. Because the knitting needles perform the tuck knitting, the original yarn in the needle hook does not escape, but stays in the hook. If the tucking depth of the tuck exceeds the knuckle depth of the yarn staying in the hook, the yarn staying in the tacking hook will be broken by the tuck point of the tucking triangle to form a hole.
